In this project management role, you will be assisting in the development and planning of new customer solutions and enhancing existing solutions to assist in the global expansion of RIM's Repair Operations. Your role will be to manage complex reverse logistics projects focusing on operational interactions from process specification through to design implementation, integration/test, and deployment including overseeing the operational issues arising during the initial period of the relationship. Main Duties & Responsibilities of the position will include: Planning, execution and management of deliverable based projects; Providing a detailed cost analysis of all Service offerings to ensure profitability of Repair Services; Providing costs, margins, and suggested pricing to Customer Operations; Ensuring all customers reporting requirements for services are met through development of Invoice format and reporting metrics; Developing detailed cost models to support finance for product warranty provision for all products; Ensuring success of project by driving day-to-day operations through the application of prescribed project management principles and methodologies; Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all business requirements are met and documented according to methodology; Preparing and managing of project proposal document perform risk assessment quantification track schedule tasks and issues; Convening project meetings, compile meeting minutes, managing action lists, and maintaining quality metrics; Budgeting preparation; Estimating and scheduling and team building; Identifying needed team resources; Defining roles and responsibilities and arranging for assignments; Changing management; Interacting with manager on a regular and timely basis and accurately providing weekly status reports for project review process. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • University Degree or equivalent is required, ideally training & Project Management Professional - PMP Certification • CPIM designation • Project Management experience ideally within a high volume manufacturing or wireless environment using project management software tools • Experience with detailed planning and execution of complete process development projects • Ability to accurately estimate task duration, resource requirements and associated costs to complete projects according to schedule • Thorough knowledge of budget preparation based on estimated effort/duration and proven ability to manage projects to budget • Ability to perform variance analysis including scheduling, costs versus budgets, and requirements variances • Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional development teams to address interdependencies and facilitate design realization to meet project milestones • Analytical or technical skills preferably developed in relative industry • Quality awareness • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Ability to travel • Ability to communicate in foreign language: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese | ||||||||||||||
