Software QA Analyst Qualifications Education: Degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience Experience: • Solid technical literacy and minimum 5 years exposure to application development • Thorough understanding of QA processes and practices • Hands-on proven experience with testing and QA tools • Previous experience on Internet/Web • Must have a working knowledge of the Web and an understanding of e-Commerce • Must have excellent communications and organizational skills. • Familiarity with working with design and development professionals. • Familiarity with E-tester and jWebUnit a plus. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for on-going quality assurance of software, including writing and execution of test scripts • Develop test cases, test plans and strategies; recommend improvements to QA processes • Interact with internal/external customers to fully understand new features and enhancements • Review technical and systems specifications; review user requirements and work with developers to e ensure QA keeps pace with development, and to report development issues • Maintain good relationship with developers; understand the application system; analyze test results and povide test summary reports to the Project Manager • Provide QA recommendations regarding release management; discuss test results with the Project Manager and present risks and recommendations; assure adherence to development standards • Assist to identify, manage and resolve QA issues; work with the Project Manager for post-launch QA | ||||||||||||||||||
