The bottles were part of a Subway promotion that had to be completed in an unusually short time. If the completed bottles were loaded on trailers the traditional way, with forklifts and skids, they would filled 22 fifty three ft. trailers, larger then a 23 car train.
Instead, the entire shipment was floor loaded by hand onto just 15 fifty three trailers and then sent to the Subway Texas based consolidation house in Texas. The job was so stressful, that 5 workmen compensation claims were filed. After completing around 70,000 caps, they all had to be melted down and remade again so they would have the torque of a toy instead of a torque of a bottle cap.
