Currently, we are in need of AVP for Operations – Construction (Philippines). Here are the specifications:

Client Profile: Our client provides premier technical, management and directly related services to develop, manage, engineer and build horizontal and vertical structures for their clients worldwide.

Responsibilities:

•Provides managerial direction of construction projects and coordinates with the consultant/architect in the preparation of cost estimates for new facilities and renovations.
•Personally oversees and inspects sites under construction.
•Reviews contracts, engineering drawings and specifications and project schedules to assess design feasibility.
•Assists in developing cost, quality and protective standards for the creation of maintenance and construction specifications and execution of capital projects.
•Oversees the activities and tasks within the National Capital Region and Provincial projects.
•Coordinates with client regarding sales/bid proposals and acts as the contact person for the entire proposal cycle
•Performs various functions ranging from cost control, quality assurance and project operations for large-scale projects
•Contributes to the project by providing technical inputs from the conceptual phase to the construction phase of the project.
•Provides information to project directors and management regarding cost status and schedule for monitoring purposes and to guarantee that the projects are protected from possible cost overruns
•Monitors if the quality program put in place by the contractor are implemented effectively and are suitable to achieve objectives
•Renders support to the President in other Operational endeavors

Requirements:

•Applicants should be Filipino citizens
•Good leadership skills
•Can establish good rapport with clients and staff
•With strong drive to succeed
•Organized
•Willing to travel within NCR and provincial assignments.
•Travel requirements 50%
•Required skill(s): Costing, Building Administration
•Required skill(s): Project Management.
•Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
•Possesses good English and Filipino communication skills
•Computer literate
•Full-Time positions available.

Experience (years):

•5 to 10 years of experience in horizontal and vertical construction, and operations.

Educational Background:

•Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil), Architecture or equivalent.
